High Gas Prices - What Should We do About It?
Why are gas prices so high? This is a question that concerns consumers everywhere, and is likely something that you think about every time you go to your local 
gas station to fill up your gasoline tank. Of course, we can probably spend hours talking about high gas prices; and each person would likely have their own opinion of why the cost for gasoline is so high. But to what would it avail us to spend so much time talking about 'why' we think gas prices are high when there are far more important things to focus our attention on, such as, what can we do about it?
Don't get me wrong here. For those who are interested in talking about gasoline price history and the laws of supply and demand, there is a place and time to do that. But what gasoline consumers really need to think about most is what can be done to improve our own situation. In other words, what means can we implement to lessen the cost for gasoline on our part, and thus weather the storm of the current gas prices crisis?

It's not so much a matter of how much you know as it is one of what can you do with that knowledge to really improve your situation. The point being that it is far better to spend our time looking for real solutions to high gas prices than it is to try to find conspiracies and plots that supposedly have been devised to take advantage of consumers. Let's face it, even if you discover a conspiracy in gasoline pricing, that discovery still won't spare you any money at the pump. The cost for gasoline will continue to be just as much for you as it is for the person who has no knowledge of such things.
Now I'm not trying to discourage you from doing any research on this matter. What I am doing is trying to encourage you to spend the bulk of your time concentrating on what is most important, or on what will result in helping you the most.
